Rupalが人種差別発言でTeamLiquid及びOWWC USAチームからリリース
Rupalが黒人を揶揄する人種差別発言をスクリム配信内でしたとしてTeam Liquid及びOWWC USチームはRupalの追放を発表しました。
スクリム配信に該当チャットを打ち込む様子が映り込んだことを受けて、Team Liquidの共同CEO Steveは自らのアカウントでRupalの解雇を発表しました。
配信中に偶然起きてしまったとは考えにくく、日常的に繰り返されており、それが配信に載って外部の目に触れたと考えるのが自然です。
いずれにしても、プロ選手はゲーム内外に関わらず、言動は常に誰か見られているということを意識しなければなりません。
